It’s a double nomination for us at the Doncaster Business Awards
13 Nov 2018
URIS Group is delighted to have been shortlisted within two categories for the Doncaster Business Awards.
Our tailored training and development programme which supports individuals aspiring to move into leadership roles, by providing them with the skills, knowledge and opportunities to achieve their ambition, has been nominated for ‘The Excellence in People’ category.
“We took great care in building a supportive and practical programme to help our employees to develop and progress their careers with us. It was so well received internally and we’re already seeing successful results so it’s amazing to also see it being recognised externally.”

Our second nomination recognises Kallum Speight, one of our Training Co-ordinator’s, for the ‘Rising Star’ category, for his outstanding performance over the past year. Kallum has not only gone above and beyond in demonstrating and living our values, but has also dramatically helped to improve efficiency and performance for our HR and Training team and has been a key figure in supporting company charitable events.
“I started with the company over 2 years ago as an apprentice, mainly to carry out admin tasks. I enjoy finding solutions to problems and learning new things, so I quickly managed to get involved in exciting projects which really helped to expand my skills and experience. I’m really proud to have been nominated and I’m looking forward to the awards ceremony.”
